Get Comfortable Getting Uncomfortable

Its first thing in the morning and you’re on your way to work or school. You’re running late but you’re Jonesin’ for a cup of Joe.

You stop at your favorite coffee shop to grab a cup. You jump in line and then you realize you forgot your wallet.

Crap! What do you do?

99.9% of people just turn around and walk out frustrated. But what if instead you asked the people around you in line if you could have a buck for a cup of coffee because you forgot your wallet?

Come on…it’s quick and easy and I’m sure if you asked half a dozen people around you, a few of them would give you a buck don’t you think…I know I would. Done in 60 seconds or less and you’d have your have that warm cup of Joe. Would you be willing to do it?

Probably not. Why not?

Because it makes you feel weird and uncomfortable. It’s just not what normal people do…right? So rather than asking for help and being uncomfortable you walk out frustrated without what you want.

Sound familiar? What areas of your life could you easily get what you want if you would just be willing to get out of your comfort zone and not be normal?
