Lessons Learned Managing a Crisis on a Navy Submarine

As I shared last week, I have met some pretty interesting people this year. One of those people is John DeVine, Head of Worldwide Operations at Facebook…and a former officer on Navy Submarines.

John and I were introduced through mutual friends and we just clicked. The fact that we have kids the same age, and he and his wife Laurel are F5 Junkie’s like Lynn and me, doesn’t hurt.

I didn’t know John’s background before we met, but after I got to know him, I found this great article on “Leadership In a Crisis” in Entrepreneur. We are all leaders at something in life and can all learn from John’s experience managing a crisis on a Navy Submarine. Thanks for the great share John! Go BIG!
