I have been blessed in my life with the opportunity to lead and inspire people for 30 years. When I first stepped into management many years ago I was naive and thought that being a manager automatically made me a leader…I soon discovered becoming a manger actually puts a target on your back and not a cape. It took me a while to figure it out but I soon discovered that being a manager is something others give you…becoming a leader is something you earn.
So, what is it that makes a great leader? What is it that being a great leader isn’t?

IT IS
a privilege

about others
inspiring others

saying what they need to hear
humble & compassionate
vulnerable
loving
it's a purpose
lifting others up
integrity
empowering others
a way of life
being loyal
being a visionary
Always remember it’s not your title or what you say that makes you a great leader…it is who you are and how you act that makes you a great leader.
BE A LEADER!!!!
